In a town where beings known as "shima-shima" live alongside humans... While protecting the Shima-shima gods who dwell on Shima-shima mountain, the members of the Oobaya make a livelihood by selling instruments for the Shima-shima. However, the younger Oobaya son, Tsugio, hates the Shima-shima. So why do they seem so attracted to him...?
