KOMATSU Shinya

Official Website | Twitter His manga are like children's fantasy stories, typically involving a young bohemian or explorer in settings evoking old Europe or the American West. With panels packed with details of built structure and signage, Komatsu aims to whisk the reader away through an excess of odd visual incident as much as through words and story. Tamura Shigeru, Sasaki Maki, and Fujiko Fujio are distinct influences.
